  • Added Option Closed Gaia, allowing players to block areas of Gaia's Garden until additional items are found. (@buanjautista)
  • Added Option Rhombus Hub Unlock, allowing players to enter areas like Gaia's Garden as soon as the correct shade is found. (@AdamStagg)

Migration Guide

  • I do not recommend continuing a previous world from 0.7.x in this patch. Certain new features are liable to change forms somewhat before the release of 0.8.0.

  • Fixed an issue where the goal would not correctly be sent upon entering Meta Space.
  • Fixed another issue where the old !! and + symbols would appear on chests.

Fixes to Logic

  • The quest New Metal is no longer considered accessible directly after receiving the mine pass (@buanjautista).
  • The quest A Promise is a Promise 3 now no longer requires full completion of the check, similar to the rest of the quests in the line.
  • Third-level Rookie Harbor quests no longer require Blue Ice Shade to be made available (@FuyumiSogeki).
  • Per-shop receives from all shops should no longer be marked as accessible if only one unlock for a shop carrying that item is found.

Miscellaneous Improvements

  • Changed the bundling process such that an APWorld manifest is generated, ensuring compatibility with future versions of Archipelago.

  • Fixed an issue where certain games would not have their datapackages cached correctly due to their names containing characters not suitable for filenames on certain platforms.
  • Fixed an issue where certain attempts to connect to the server would fail due to mismatched checksums when no such problems exist.
  • Fixed an issue where, upon reconnecting to the server while in game, chest icons newly added during the play session would appear as unknown.

  • The locations New Metal and The Observatory now require Mine Pass.
  • Added Vagabond Dojo Key to the list of Always Quests, meaning that it will never contain progressive or useful items when quest randomization is enabled.
