- Don't write vague messages
- Should contain subject and body
- Subject should answer ["Action?, What?", Where?]
- Body should have reason of commit or explanation for method used or details/structure of changes
- Capitalize the subject line
- Don't end subject line with period
- Use the imperative mood in the subject line "spoken or written as if giving a command or instruction"

- Use proper heading level for "Attributions"
