Description

The Address Bus allows you to map up to four Hi-Speed devices memory into a single address space. Each slot has an internal offset, external offset, and a size. The internal offset is where that slot begins in the address space. The size is how much space the slot gets. The external offset is an offset to the devices memory.

Say you have slot 1 with an internal offset of 100, an external offset of 0 and a size of 8 and a ram gate connected. The addresses 100-108 on the bus will map to 0-8 on the ram gate. If you set the external offset to 4 then the addresses 100-108 on the bus will map to addresses 4-12 on the ram gate.
