…body Previous layout had the numeral absolute-positioned in the outer margin, which collided with the left-column kicker/date (especially with double-digit numbers like 38, 77). Left column also constrained the title + excerpt to a narrow reading measure. New layout: - 2-column grid: numeral column (3.5-5rem) | content column (1fr) - Numeral is a real grid child (<span class='entry-numeral'>), not absolute — zero chance of overlap. Italic oldstyle figure, right- aligned so the digits sit tight to the content column. - Content column holds a single kicker line (Category · N min read · Date) followed by the title and excerpt. Title + excerpt use the full content width. - Numeral inherits accent color on :hover of the entry — subtle 'entering the piece' cue. Mobile (≤640px) collapses to single column with numeral stacked above.

Fixes the overlap between the absolute-positioned numeral and the left-column meta info. New layout is a real 2-col grid (numeral | body). Title + excerpt get the full reading width. Kicker is a single line above the title.
