ILLUMULUS Website

Public website for ILLUMULUS, an anonymous author: an interactive installation that writes, illustrates, and prints personalized short stories in dialogue with its audience. Built by the Chair of Intelligent Information Systems at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar together with the University of Kassel.

Structure

• index.html: single-page site (bilingual EN/DE, toggled client-side)
• style.css: styles, light/dark theme via CSS custom properties
• script.js: theme and language toggles, hero typewriter, "lumen cloud" canvas animation, scroll reveals
• assets/: photos from the Leipzig Book Fair 2024 and a story screenshot

There is no build step and no dependencies. It is a plain static site. Open index.html in a browser, or serve the directory with any static file server:

python3 -m http.server

Deployment

Any static host works (GitHub Pages, Netlify, university web space). For GitHub Pages: push, then enable Pages for the main branch in the repository settings.
