These occurrences should probably be updated as well:

  • Branding of the repo itself
    • The logo shown on the repo landing page
    • The Vector SIL Kit badge

      sil-kit/README.rst

      Lines 4 to 5 in c6a77fa

      .. |VectorSite| image:: https://img.shields.io/badge/vector-sil--kit-red
      :target: https://vector.com/sil-kit
  • This ends up in the top-level README of the package
    Vector SIL Kit Release Version: @PROJECT_VERSION@

I am not sure about the branding (and namespace) of the registry headers in SilKit/include/silkit/vendor. Should these be changed?

I'll fix the text ones, @snps-fricke .
for the logo we would need a new logo and/or a mascot :-)
I'll leave the vendor badge, cause we have a nice summary page on our webpage. If there is a synopsys page, we could add that, too

I would leave them as is -- they were regarded as a vendor specific implementation detail so far. We should discuss how we want to handle this separately.

Yes, Synopsys now has a webpage as well.
Maybe simply using two badges would be a good option.
