The site still imports tailwindcss as a PostCSS plugin in website/postcss.config.js, and Hugo runs PostCSS for css/style.css because website/config.toml sets postcss = true. Tailwind's v4 upgrade guide moved that plugin to @tailwindcss/postcss, so this bump makes make serve/production-build abort during CSS processing until the PostCSS config and dependency are migrated, or Tailwind stays on v3.

The app bundle still uses the v2-style side-effect import in website/assets/js/app.js (import 'alpinejs'), while the templates rely on Alpine for $store.global, x-show, and @click across the navbar, tabs, and download selector. Alpine's v3 NPM upgrade path requires importing the Alpine object and calling Alpine.start() explicitly, so this dependency bump leaves those directives uninitialized in the browser until the app entrypoint is migrated.

The preview/production RUM init in website/assets/js/dd-browser-logs-rum.js still passes the old trackInteractions: true option, but the current Browser RUM SDK expects trackUserInteractions: true for automatic click collection. With this v4-to-v7 bump the unsupported option is ignored, so user action tracking silently stops even though the config still looks enabled.
