I am submitting

  • a new package
  • an update for a package

Description

Typst template for documents of the Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ / 情報処理学会). The package currently supports the 研究報告 (Technical Report) format; additional IPSJ document types (journal articles, national convention papers, etc.) are planned for future releases.

Submission checklist

I have read and followed the submission guidelines and, in particular, I

  • selected a name that isn't the most obvious or canonical name for what the package does
  • added a typst.toml file with all required keys
  • added a README.md with documentation for my package
  • have chosen a license and added a LICENSE file
  • tested my package locally on my system and it worked
  • excluded PDFs or README images, but not the LICENSE
  • ensured the template directory is licensed such that users can use and distribute its contents without restriction after modifying them through normal use

I tried figuring out what joho stands for in this context, and I think it means intelligence or information, which seemed a little to descriptive.

If this isn't an official package of the university, could you pick another name please? It should be distinctive enough so that another package with the same purpose can be published without one of the two having an unfair advantage, and it should be clear from the name that it is community-built and not officially endorsed by the university. See our naming rules.

If you want to make this an official template, to keep the current name, that's also an option. In that case a member of the University staff should send an email to hello@typst.app stating that they officially endorse your package. In practice it means that they will accept submission of works built using it, and ideally promote it and guarantee that it will be maintained in the long term.

It is generally appreciated to have at least an introduction sentence in English, even if the target audience for the template is not native English speakers. This allows the broader Typst community to get an idea of what the package is about and make sure that it isn't of interest to them.
