This is not ready for production; sending when the terminal is busy causes artifacts:

julia> @btime f3(2.5)

^A^K^H@btime v2(x = 2.5)

I guess the issue is term and there is nothing you can really do about it. You can send "\^A\^K\^H\^M" which looks nicer.

What is the difference between "\b"and "\^H"?
