Backports the statistics-related hunks of #3309 to v3. Adds an optional id to StatisticsOptions so a stable, user-provided key can be used for KV persistence instead of the auto-incremented counter, which is fragile across restarts when instance creation order/count varies. Defaults to the existing auto-incremented id. Fixes request-statistics resetting on container restart (graceful migration / OOM / resurrect), where the final Total N requests undercounts because the persisted stats key drifts between processes. Closes #3877
