A leopard seal swimming through schools of fish

Hi, I'm subotac 🌊

Student from Ukraine · open-source contributor · curious debugger

I like bugs that hide below the waterline: edge cases that surface on another platform, a different CPU architecture, awkward input, or the boundary between two systems.

Recently, I've been contributing in Rust, Python, and Go across runtimes, compilers, type systems, terminal tools, and data formats. I aim for a reproducible failure, a small complete fix, and regression coverage that keeps the bug from swimming back.

A few fixes that landed

How I work

reproduce → understand → fix → test → verify

I'm a student building practical experience in public, one useful patch and one maintainer review at a time.

🐟 Small fixes · deep dives · open source 🦭
