For kernel patches, please use the patches as-is from the upstream commit (or patch on the mail thread); by this, I mean preserve the subject line (you can remove the initial part in brackets if you wish), the description, and the author and any tags.

Removing patches for the i2c-xiic driver for now as the patch file is based on master and could not be applied to 6.12 cleanly
