Summary

  • New site-wide link-preview (OG) image matching the "Infrastructure for the agentic era" hero, plus per-page OG cards for /actors, /agentos, /workflows, /dynamic-apps, and /cloud — assets live on the CDN under promo/og/, wired via each page's ogImage prop (and the cloud JSON-LD image)
  • Product marketing surface refinements carried on this branch: product-bar lockups and marks (incl. Rivet Cloud), header logo restore, docs shell/dropdown fixes, blueprint section rules, product-page FAQ animation
  • Redirect canonicalization: trailing slashes, collapsed 301 chains, /contact/talk-to-an-engineer
  • Misc form, footer, and site-URL touch-ups

Test plan

  • All five OG assets verified byte-identical on assets.rivet.dev with immutable cache headers
  • Preview cards reviewed at full size and 500px chat-preview width
  • After deploy, re-scrape key URLs in platform debuggers (X/LinkedIn/Slack) to refresh cached previews

…cts, workflows rewrite

- Light mode for docs code blocks (ayu-light shiki), bench cards, and deploy
command chips; fix missing ⌘ in the search shortcut badge (hydration bug)
- Header redesign: glass shell matching the landing pill, h-8 control cluster,
quiet Linear-style product-bar tabs, Discord dropped, Pricing links fixed
  to /cloud
- Products menu: verb-led premise grid (Run/Operate/Automate/Deploy) with
aligned cells; footer rail and Preview badge removed
- Workflows page rewrite: operation→step terminology, stack-clarity copy,
  actor-inheritance strip, FAQ 8→6, de-slopped demo chrome
- Retire mono uppercase eyebrows, numbered markers, and contrastive copy
sitewide; quiet sans labels; CLAUDE.md canon updated
- Layout fixes: integrations/hosting/capabilities grids, perimeter diagram
CSS dashed border, OnPrem copy dedup, landing hero back to 100svh
- Landing CTA: full-bleed painting, glass Talk-to-an-Engineer button
- Fix circular imports in @rivet-gg/components that killed SSR mid-stream
- Restore dynamic-apps page to production layout (with "Cheap" subtext tweak)

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The dialog input is the only focusable field in the modal and autofocuses on
open; the inset pine ring read as a stray border around the search box.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- Stack cards: cream marks inline with product names (white tiles dropped),
glass verb pills that lighten on an s-curve while the dot grid pans slowly
on hover (paused in place on leave), Explore links pinned to one baseline
- Remove the hosting/integrations/observability section subtexts; the
integrations groups become an even four-column chip grid
- OnPrem checklist circles strengthened to read as pine
- Dynamic Apps page restored to the production version ("Dirt cheap" -> "Cheap")
- Workflows page drops the inspector lede; footer byline covers remote work

Rebuild the Dynamic Apps page around new hand-authored SVG diagrams
(AppsVisualization, dynamicApps/deployment/workflow diagrams) and a
dedicated FAQ; retire AppsHero and the legacy RedesignedCTA /
AnimatedCTATitle. Redesign the blog article and index, pricing page,
agentOS, compare, and talk-to-an-engineer pages. Add Rodin's The
Thinker to the 404, refresh product/logo SVGs, header, and footer,
and drop the retired sales page.

…ions

Add a cal.com-style boundary between every pair of top-level marketing
sections: a full-bleed ink hairline that breaks at the standard rail's
vertical guides, where a registration cross marks the intersection and
a short guide segment fades away above and below. One hook-free
<SectionRule /> component backed by .site-rule CSS whose guide calc
mirrors the SITE_SECTION_CLASS gutters, so crosses sit exactly on the
content edge at every viewport. Applied across home, products, cloud,
enterprise, careers, support, oss-friends, blog, startups, registry,
compare, and agentOS use-cases; single-section pages stay bare. Also
carries the in-flight scroll-reveal attribute pass on workflows and
main.css.

Offset the blueprint guides 2.5rem outside the max-w-7xl content edge
instead of sitting on it, with a per-breakpoint floor keeping them
clear of the viewport edge when the gutter is all the room there is.

Actors, Workflows, and Dynamic Apps rendered their FAQs as bare
<details> elements that snapped open. Swap them for the FaqList island
the cloud and compare pages already use, so every FAQ gets the same
eased height + fade slide, rotating plus, and single-open behavior.
Answers stay server-rendered for crawlers and FaqJsonLd is unchanged.

The docs sidebar's collapsible sections (e.g. Communication &
Networking) were dead because island hydration failed page-wide in
dev: heavy island graphs (Header, DocsNavigation, Footer) discover
deps like framer-motion and clsx mid-hydration, Vite re-optimizes,
and the in-flight import chain 504s. Pre-bundle those deps and warm
the island entries at server start, per the existing mermaid note.

Also cap the docs shell at 94rem and center it as one unit: uncapped,
the sidebar pinned to the viewport edge while the article centered in
the leftover track, opening a dead band between them on wide screens.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Centering the 94rem shell floated the sidebar ~200px off the viewport
edge while the header logo stayed pinned left. Keep the cap (it is
what holds the article against the sidebar) but let the shell sit at
the edge, with the spare width on the right.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Drop the 94rem shell cap; the sidebar stays at the viewport edge and
the article + TOC block centers in the remaining track, now capped at
86rem instead of 6xl, with prose widened from 52rem to 58rem. Wide
screens get a full centered reading column instead of a fixed-width
one with the spare space piled on the right. Landing grids keep the
6xl cap.

Render the /docs product cards' icons with the same ink-squircle
badge treatment their product-page lockups use (cream glyph on the
ink tile) instead of a bare ink silhouette, and align the card frame
with the site standard: rounded-xl hairline, hover white fill, pine
focus ring.

Buttons site-wide carry plain labels — arrows belong to the quiet
pine text-links. Strip the stray trailing arrows from the six outlier
buttons: home hero Start Building, OnPrem and product-hero CTAs, both
Startups Claim-the-deal buttons, and the Actors-primitive Details
button.

The header logo img was sized 80x24 but the SVG is 204:68 (3:1), so
the browser letterboxed the drawing with ~4px of dead space each side
and the visible mark sat right of its box while the product bar's
tile sat flush. Size all five logo renderings at the true 72x24
content box - same visual size, no phantom bearing.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The 72px resize was based on a wrong letterboxing model - browsers
use the SVG's natural 3:1 ratio once loaded, so the 80px logo was
already drawing flush and the change just shrank it. Put all five
renderings back at w-20 (height attr corrected to the true ratio for
pre-load layout) and instead size the product bar's accent tile at
26px to optically match the ~26.5px R badge above it.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The tile misalignment was only ever on /cloud: productLogos had no
cloud entry, so the product bar fell back to the Font Awesome cloud
glyph, whose metrics do not match the ring-badge marks the other
products carry. Map cloud to rivet-cloud-logo.svg (the R-in-ring
mark) and restore the size-7 tile the other product pages already
aligned with.

Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Vertically center the statue + floating product badges against the
heading and form column on /talk-to-an-engineer instead of pinning
them to the top of the grid. Drop the cloud entry from productLogos
again - the faCloud glyph is the intended Rivet Cloud mark - with a
comment so it stays off the map on purpose.

- New site-wide link preview matching the agentic-era hero; per-page OG
cards for Actors, agentOS, Workflows, Dynamic Apps, and Rivet Cloud
  (uploaded to assets.rivet.dev under promo/og/)
- Redirect cleanups: trailing slashes, collapsed 301 chains, /contact
  lands on /talk-to-an-engineer
- Misc form, footer, and site-URL touch-ups
