Note

Low Risk
Documentation-only changes that reorganize the Kubernetes support matrix and update version tables; risk is limited to potential inaccuracies in the published compatibility information.

Overview
Adds CNCF compatibility guidance across the Kubernetes landing and architecture pages, stating Redis Enterprise for Kubernetes is designed to run consistently on CNCF-conformant platforms.

Reworks the support-matrix documentation in supported_k8s_distributions.md: splits Kubernetes version support vs tested distributions, clarifies the meaning of supported/deprecated/EOL markers, and updates the tables to include a new operator version column (8.0.18-tbd) plus additional/updated Kubernetes and vendor distribution versions (e.g., Kubernetes 1.35, OpenShift 4.21, expanded VMware VKS entries).

Placeholder version "8.0.18-tbd" in published documentation

High Severity

The version 8.0.18-tbd appears in all support matrix table headers across the page. "tbd" is clearly a placeholder for an unreleased version — there are no release notes for any 8.0.18 version, only 8.0.16-24 for March 2026. This exposes internal pre-release planning in customer-facing documentation and will confuse users checking supported distributions.
