[Sync to prerelease] docs: document profile priority and missing profile behavior#2084
Merged
Conversation
Clarify that first-listed profile wins scalar conflicts when multiple
profiles are active. Also document that a named profile with no
corresponding _quarto-{name}.yml file is silently ignored.
Closes quarto-cli-gr1b.

docs: document profile priority and missing profile behavior
Profiles documentation was missing two behaviors users encounter:
_quarto-{name}.ymlfile is silently ignored with no warning.Added callouts to the Profile Configuration section explaining both behaviors and linking to metadata-merging docs.
