enabling more checks induced me to read the documentation more carefully. i discovered the --fixed-format-cache option in The Mypy Blog. this pull request would make the option more visible (eventually). i copied its description from the text emitted by
mypy --help.(random aside: i know --strict-equality-for-none and --warn-unreachable are "not automatically enabled by the strict flag" by design, but think we would benefit from having an option that enables these checks. as documented, the flags needed to specify truly strict checking are not obvious. (also by design?) i want to run
mypy --all ...and fix any errors it reports after cursing mildly :-)
