## HPC systems with preCICE pre-installed

Before attempting to install preCICE yourself, check if it is already available on the system you are using.
Since preCICE is included in the [E4S](https://e4s.io/product-catalog/) ecosystem and in the [Spack](installation-spack.html) and [EasyBuild](https://docs.easybuild.io/version-specific/supported-software/p/preCICE/) package managers, you might find that a preCICE module is already available.
