Hi @a-detiste! mwouts/jupytext#1195 The current 2.3.0 version of tomli supports Python 3.8 and later so it's something that's compatible. 🙂 With tomli in the standard lib (since 3.11) sounds like something to keep in mind once 3.10 reaches EoL (Oct 2026). |
I ve been patching Debian and submiting patches upstream to remove usage of old libraries for a while https://wiki.debian.org/Python/Backports Ultimate goal is to replace tomli completely with tomllib, in a few years, but I try no to confuse upstream projets with PR that try to do too many things at once. Replacing toml with tomli is a intermédiate step that makes it easier.
