Problem

Label entities represent specific brandings, not the underlying company.
Because of this, the begin date reflects when that branding started, not when the company was founded.
The UI currently shows “Founded:”, which is misleading.

Solution

Replaced “Founded:” with “Started:” in the Label sidebar, meta description, and translation template.
No schema changes were made, and Schema.org’s foundingDate remains unchanged.

Testing

Checked Label pages and confirmed the updated wording appears correctly and does not affect other entity types.
Verified translations update correctly through the modified .pot file.

Update label UI to display "Started" instead of "Founded" for label
begin dates. Update translation template. No changes to Schema.org
properties or artist founder fields.

As said here: https://tickets.metabrainz.org/browse/MBS-14196

I don't think there is any difference, in English, between 'founded' and 'started'.

Thanks for the feedback. The goal of this change is to make the field clearer for editors. For Label entities, the begin date refers to when the label branding started, not when the company itself was founded. Using “Started” matches how the field is actually used and helps avoid that confusion.

I do not think there is any difference in the English language when you say:

This label was founded...
vs
This label was started...

And neither one refers to a parent company's starting/founding date.
