So the copyright year is supposed to be the file's creation date, not update date. This is based on the Google copyright notice policy. Even so that can be tricky for generated code, but I think it's fine to just have it perpetually at whatever date the generator is using. Unless you're feeling fancy with keeping a mapping of filename -> creation year. |

Pretty self-explanatory. It'd be nice if there were a way to only update the year for files that were actually updated this year, but that seems like a huge can of worms.
