README rewrite is mostly marketing copy, introduces factual/casing problems, and duplicates information better kept on official project pages. Adding a root LICENSE file without explaining exact relationship to existing 7-Zip licensing surface is risky repo churn.
This adds a lot of text, but almost no engineering value.
Merge readiness: 1/10. Before merge: drop generated README filler, keep docs factual/minimal, and only add license files if they exactly match project licensing intent.
