🌟 What is the purpose of this PR?

Improve Petrinaut simulation and playback internals so the current engine is easier to reason about and better prepared for efficient frame storage, stable worker communication, and future stochastic runs.

🔍 What does this change?

  • Adds a Simulation Engine v2 RFC covering binary frames, stable protocol boundaries, windowed storage, JSON-serializable messages, and seeded stochastic simulation.
  • Separates public simulation APIs from internal frame/runtime/authoring modules and introduces SimulationFrameReader.
  • Removes transition instances from stored frames and keeps frame access behind reader/domain-view APIs.
  • Splits Simulation Timeline into focused chart, header, legend, and series-config modules.
  • Simplifies playback/simulation lifecycle, including compute vs view-only modes, stale simulation invalidation, and provider remounting on net switch.
