I'm a developer who mostly works around the web at both ends. I love open source and am trying to contribute to new projects. I'm fully self taught and I love learning about new technologies. I'm currently very interested in functional programming and concurrent systems. I've done extensive work in the web world, especially with TypeScript, Vue, some React, Go, and Gleam. Gleam is my favourite tool to use whenever I can! I also maintain the bots for the Overwatch Discord community.
I've also got some experience with Rust, OCaml, Elixir, C (to a very limited degree!), and SQL. My ethos in tech is to rely on existing tools and specs as much as possible. Open source is best when we all speak the same protocols. In an attempt to reduce my reliance on big-tech, I've also got a personal Git forge which will house most of my future projects that don't depend on GitHub.
I'm trying to spend a bit less time on social media and big tech spaces, so if you'd like to see some of my personal stuff, including blog posts, it's over on the isaac zone. For what it's worth - nothing I write, and no art I do, is in any way assisted by AI or slop-generated with AI.
