/usr/share/oem is a symlink to the OEM partition at /oem these days. However, all OEMs are now being converted to sysexts, which cannot cover /oem. /usr/share/coreos itself is a symlink to /usr/share/flatcar these days, but I'm keeping the coreos name here in line with this being coreos-cloudinit. Is there a PR that updates our documentation? |

Not yet, but I'll add that to the pile of doc changes I'm about to make. |

There was a problem hiding this comment.
What's the deal with rackspace that you are dropping support for it here?

See the discussion on Discord. In short, our support is super ancient, probably broken, and it is for their "legacy" cloud. Despite what I said there, I decided to ditch OnMetal too. |

Equinix Metal (Packet) is about to be switched off. We're dropping Rackspace support from Flatcar as discussed.
How to use
The easiest image to test this with is Vagrant... which isn't that easy. You'll need my wider OEM changes.
Testing done
I've tried the above manually and run all the unit tests. I've run Jenkins too, but nothing there uses coreos-cloudinit.
