Full detail: NebulaOS-firmware's Developer Recovery page.
Least to most invasive: it usually just fixes itself on the next reboot (unless the kernel never
gets far enough to trigger that) → switch slots over SSH → USB recovery back to stock using
ballaswag/ingenic-usbboot if networking's dead →
manual repair over SSH (no dedicated script exists) → a full factory restore, which is Creality's
own tooling, not something NebulaOS provides or has run itself.
Most of what matters — printer.cfg, calibration, WiFi credentials, GuppyScreen config/theme,
G-code uploads — survives a slot switch. Mainsail config and camera config/timelapses genuinely
haven't been checked either way.
