Cobble is a high-performance LSM-based key-value storage engine designed for both embedded and distributed systems.

The goal is simple: a storage engine that is as easy to embed as RocksDB, yet ready for the cloud — hybrid local/remote object storage, global snapshots, remote compaction, and online rescaling, all out of the box.
