Summary
This is an LLM assisted restructuring of the docs as discussed in #1037. The individual points from that issue have also been copied into the individual documents for easier reference. This does not close that issue, it just leaves the holes that need to be filled in.
IMO, this PR should be merged already despite obviously not being complete to simplify further work. It's not like the doc build is working anyway...
