although.. I guess we are waiting artemis 3.0 to make that switch..
We were trying to be compatible with the previous versions and we are trying to do it in steps.

We could eventually rename those files now but we would need to do it in a compatible way.

I tried to keep compatibility with previous versions by adding that script to upgrade.java. I don't like that it will always execute, even after all the files will be renamed to "artemis", so I still want to add some additional logic.
In any case - including this before 3.0 is up to you (maintainers) ... If you want to include it now and you think it's not compatible, let me know where the issues are.

As mentioned on the Jira (which I have converted to a sub-task of a placeholder for 3.0 considerations), changes like this were not missed, but deferred to later (3.0 or in cases even 4.0, as part of a staged migration with deprecations). Beyond the groupId switching, 2.x releases are to be essentially as they would have been before the new TLP.
