This is a Script to easily install Exfil Server on Ubuntu
What is Exfil?
A realism-focused milsim, combining sandbox elements and tactical round-based FPS gameplay. Up to four teams of eight battle to secure objectives in short, customizable, single-life matches. Enjoy self-hosted or dedicated server options, ensuring you and your community can always access the action.

Working Ubuntu installation with root access
- wget https://github.com/altNightHawk/Exfil_Server/archive/refs/tags/Exfil_Server-v1.0.5.tar.gz
- tar -xvf Exfil_Server.v1.0.5.tar.gz
- cd Exfil_Server-1.0.5
- chmod +x install_exfil_server.sh
- ./install_exfil_server.sh
- answer the prompts
- start your server
- wget https://github.com/altNightHawk/Exfil_Server/archive/refs/tags/Exfil_Sever-v1.0.5.tar.gz
- tar -xvf Exfil_Server-v1.0.5.tar.gz
- cd Exfil_Server-1.0.5
- chmod +x install_exfil_server.sh
- edit exfil.env
- ./install_exfil_server.sh exfil.env
- start your server
Full Install can include service setup and an auto-update cron.
Do not forget to open the ports you chose.
Defaults: 7777 and 27015
Default Config file examples are now included.
