So far, I have run the example program on Linux with Zig 0.16.0 and 0.17.0-dev.1543+6db520a4c. Next, I will get this branch wired into my downstream game project for further testing. |

My downstream game project ran fine on this PR. Once CI is green on the main branch, I will rebase this PR to get some CI results. |
