Summary

  • Adds a "Live MCP vs Headless Harness" section to CLAUDE.md: the official Blender Lab MCP server (https://projects.blender.org/lab/blender_mcp), when registered machine-locally, is for interactive exploration only (scene inspection, data-relation queries, lighting diagnosis, API prototyping); the headless harness remains the only source of truth for witnesses, checks, and CI evidence.
  • Notes the server executes generated code without guards (scratch scenes only) and that availability is machine-local and optional — agents proceed headless without comment when it is absent.
  • Adds a one-line pointer in AGENTS.md under canonical references; no duplication.

Evidence

Docs-only change — established by inspection; no live run applies. No project-scoped MCP config is committed; CI and other machines are unaffected.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Documents the two execution paths for Blender work: the official
Blender Lab MCP server (machine-local, optional, exploration only)
versus the headless harness, which remains the only source of truth
for witnesses, checks, and CI evidence. Adds a one-line pointer in
AGENTS.md canonical references.
