This project is a fully functional web-based parking reservation system that allows users to view, avail, and reserve parking spots at specific times. The system provides real-time updates, enabling users to check available parking spaces in advance before arriving at the location.
Users can reserve a parking space for a selected time period, including reservations that last up to an entire day. The system is designed to provide convenience, improve parking efficiency, and help drivers avoid unnecessary searching for available spaces.
To maintain fairness and efficiency, the system enforces several rules:
- A parking spot cannot be reserved immediately after being used (e.g., reserving the same spot within 10 minutes is not allowed).
- If a user fails to remove their vehicle after their reservation time ends, the on-site staff will handle the situation accordingly.
Future improvements and additional features will continue to be implemented to better serve users and enhance the overall parking experience.
The purpose of this project is to develop a high-efficiency intelligent parking solution that uses real-time parking availability and reservation management.
By allowing users to check and reserve parking spaces ahead of time, the system helps:
- Reduce parking congestion
- Improve parking space management
- Allow drivers to know in advance whether a parking spot is available
This creates a more efficient and convenient parking experience for both users and parking facility operators.
