- to reduce coupling with the thallium RPC - might be useful for testing
Added SIGTERM and SIGINT handlers. Currently uses a separate thread as a signal watcher, didn't see a better cross-platform friendly way to do it
- fixed the issue of the operation not getting over to the buddy in case of a primary node failure
- enables easy demo of distributed environment within a single host - multiple instances ran on the same device won't access the same shm or persistent data file
