🕔 Keep Custom Clock Widget When Switching Themes
Previously, switching themes reset the "replace clock with widget" option (which also happens automatically when you change wallpapers). If you have a custom clock widget selected, it will now be kept across theme changes and override any theme's clock style.

💾 Fix User-Provided Wallpapers Missing From Backup
User-provided wallpaper images are now properly included in our file-based backups, so themes that use them restore correctly. Note that due to size limitations, user-provided wallpapers are not backed up via Android's automatic backups as of now.

⬛ Fix Wallpaper Not Showing in the "Edit Theme" UI
On some devices with broken Android Graphics API implementations, the wallpaper didn't show up in the preview. We've switched to a different rendering technique that should work on these devices too.

🖱️ Allow Importing .nlt Theme Files Directly from Other Apps
Opening a .nlt file with Niagara Launcher now imports the theme, so you no longer need to go through Niagara Settings for that.

🌊 Fix "Hide Scrollbar" Option Not Reliably Refreshing in the "Edit Theme" Preview

📏 Fix Inconsistent Icon Sizes After Changing Icon Size
Icons weren't always refreshed correctly after a size change via the "Edit Theme" screen, which led to a mix of big and small icons being shown on the home screen.

🐛 Fix Icon Shape Selection Not Being Offered for Third-Party Icon Packs
Last week's update introduced a bug that caused all third-party icon packs to be treated as if they didn't support adaptive icons. As a result, the prompt asking which icon shape to use was skipped. We resolved the issue, and your icon packs should now again be available in any shape you like (well, as long as it's a squircle, square, or circle)!

It's been a busy week for us, and we've made some good progress on changes for the upcoming major update. Unfortunately, we still can't show you those changes yet, so you'll have to take our word for it. 😅
Some of these changes are already part of this release and working behind the scenes. So while you shouldn't notice anything different, it would help us a lot if you enabled crash reports and reported any new issues or weird occurrences on our Feedback Board.

🗂️ Reorganize "Features" Settings
To make the "Features" settings more intuitive and easier to navigate, we did some restructuring and grouped similar settings together. For now, these new settings will only be available in English. Other languages will follow as soon as they are sufficiently translated.

🔙 Fix Rare Crash When Playing the Predictive Back Animation for Dialogs
On some devices, the operating system occasionally does not adhere to the correct order of operations when triggering the predictive back animation. We've made the animation more robust, so this should no longer crash on these devices.
