Summary

Updates the Forge 1.16.5 branch to OreSpawn 4.0.9.116051.

  • preserves long host, tag and biome-list values when reopening the ore and fluid editors;
  • moves the existing terrain replacement pass ahead of provider surfaces, correcting Residual vanilla Dirt survives total-conversion terrain replacement #255 for newly generated 1.16.5 chunks while preserving later structures, vegetation, fluids, bedrock and block entities;
  • upgrades the development and release build to ForgeGradle 7 / Gradle 9.6.1 with reproducible artifacts, current CI workflows and complete documentation export;
  • retains API 1, schemas 4/6/5, existing profiles and existing generated chunks.

Validation

  • 114 tests across 29 suites with no failures, errors or skips;
  • exact reobfuscated Forge 36 fresh/reload servers and launcher-like client world/editor testing;
  • Residual vanilla Dirt survives total-conversion terrain replacement #255 probe: 108 raw natural sources converted while 108 structure, 108 vegetation, 54 cave, 54 underwater, nine bedrock and nine block-entity sentinels remained unchanged across reload;
  • 28 structured resources, 16 locales with 357 keys and all 21 exported guides verified;
  • Java 8 bytecode, six packaged access-transformer rules and artifact contents audited;
  • matched performance comparison showed no regression.

The 1.16.5 candidate has also completed manual Eclipse and gameplay testing. Issue #255 remains open for qualification of the other Minecraft branches.
