Other features such as WiiWare Patching and wad2bin will remain operational.
RiiConnect24 Patcher is a program made for easier installation of RiiConnect24. With it, you can just sit back and relax while the patcher does everything for you.

The Unix patcher should work on any Unix-like system with Bash, including macOS and Linux.
