Can get in another infinite loop via race condition. This happens if the tab A gets selected and loads gifs. Then tab B gets selected then back to tab A. And if you get the timing correctly, tab A should still be loading gifs when going back. But when going back into the tab, since we still need to fill the container, it will try to load more gifs. So we are going to check to see if loading is currently happening, and if it is, then we will wait and try again.
