I used Copilot CLI to identify about 43 guides out of 98 that include hardcoded software versions, typically in install commands. To address issues with stale software versions, I used the CLI to add a standardized note about versions to these guides and to copilot-instructions. I updated commands in these guides to use latest versions wherever possible and made some style/editorial updates along the way.
I also added descriptions to a handful of these guides. That could be a separate project. Might also be worth exploring ways to use version-agnostic commands (maybe fetching the version using a command), but that'd likely depend on the tool
