- Assume good faith. Most confusing messages are language barriers or missing context, not hostility. This is an international community and many participants are not writing in their first language.
- Stay on topic and keep threads useful for the next person who finds them.
- Harassment, insults, or personal attacks
- Discriminatory language or imagery of any kind
- Sexualized language, imagery, or unwelcome attention
- Publishing someone else's private information without permission
- Posting material that is confidential to an employer or client
- Sustained disruption, spam, or off-topic promotion
- Pressuring maintainers or other participants for free work on private problems
This applies to all AppJars spaces on GitHub and to anyone representing the community in public.
Report unacceptable behaviour to conduct@appjars.com. Reports are handled confidentially and reviewed by Flowing Code. We will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.
Maintainers may edit, hide, lock, or delete content and may temporarily or permanently block accounts from AppJars spaces. We aim to explain our reasoning, but a decision does not require the agreement of the person it affects.
Moderation of the community and support under a subscription are separate matters. Being blocked here does not affect your contractual rights, and having a subscription does not exempt anyone from this Code of Conduct.
