Aquí si quieres hacerlo mediante regex, puede que te sirva considerar el patrón
[A-Z]+[$]*[1-9]+[$]*, el cual indica que tomas mínimo 1 valor A-Z, y puede hay 0 o más$, seguido de mínimo un 1-9 y finaliza cero o más$Y el siguiente patrón para rangos
cellpattern:cellpattern.
