xeef / 0xEEF is xeaf / 0xEAF's alt account for all AI-generated projects.
Those are projects I don't make myself but generally with a mix of Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT. I don't make those to make money, unlike most other people doing AI projects. I purely do this to help myself and others achieve some goals. I usually do Minecraft plugins (because I'm still learning basics on how to program in Java/JVM) and small useless projects that I don't wanna spend much time on.
Some aren't maintained and probably shouldn't, and stay as experiments - others I try to maintain correctly enough. My stance on AI is that yes, it isn't as good as real human-made and maintained projects but they can be useful when no alternatives exist. I don't usually (re)make stuff that already exist unless I have a reason to. Usual reasons are:
- Alternative projects are closed-source and suspicious
- Alternative projects aren't maintained and/or buggy
- Alternative projects aren't as complete as I would want them to be
- Alternative projects don't support specific software (eg. Folia) or versions (eg. 26.1/26.2 Minecraft)
If anyone wants to properly maintain them, feel free to fork them or take inspiration from them and recreate them yourself. Then you can contact me about your related project and after a bit of time to make sure you are maintaining the project better than I could ever do, I will recommend people to use your project instead.
I publish plugins on Modrinth and Hangar but Modrinth will probably never let my uploads be released due to their new AI policy they made after I uploaded most of my plugins. So probably use Hangar instead.
