Tried to generate 8-length password, received 16-length one

I've changed the password length to 8 and it's given me cgGf1JMbie1Bd0ds as the password with Uppercase, Lowercase, and Numbers all checked and Special Characters and Whitespace removed. cgGf1JMbie1Bd0ds is 16 in length.
