I need to know how to use python-sii to authenticate credentials

Currently the library depends on suds for the SOAP interaction for this. There is a way to remove that dependency and go directly for the SII web API, which would also allow to essentially automate anything they also offer on their portal as a service. Arguably gives you a way more complete interface to the SII than their SOAP WS.

Examples on how to use the high level API for this library can be found in https://github.com/voipir/python-sii-utils/tree/master/src/sii/bin which is a CLI toolkit for DTE manipulation, validation, verification, printing, upload etc. There are some kinks here and there, so beware. But overall works (still use it quite often myself).

As a rule of thumb; anything directly in python-sii/src/sii/lib/ are modules for which any method not prefixed with underscore is meant to be used from the outside. Documentation is almost always available in their corresponding docstrings.

If you have any more specific questions, I'll gladly answer them if I can.
