Expected behavior
Veracrypt popup asks for sysadmin password when mounting a volume.
It should accept the sysadmin password if entered correctly.
Observed behavior
Endless loop of admin password popups. Never accepts the legit admin password. Requires workaround command to launch Veracrypt. Even this command sometimes fails to allow mounting:
veracrypt --use-dummy-sudo-password
Steps to reproduce
- Install Veracrypt and run the app
- Try to mount an encrypted disk volume
- Pop-up asks for sysadmin password
- Enter admin PW
- Admin fails. Reenter admin. Admin fails again... endless loop.
