WordPress comments contain commenter data: name, email, IP address. And I believe they are available in the MySQL database tables. But not through the admin area web interface in the Comments section.
Why not transfer these tables when importing from WordPress to Remark42, for example, by exporting them from MySQL in CSV format.
Or is there a reason not to link the authors of old comments by email addresses?
