When you have a list (unordered, ordered), and you highlight and convert to a blockquote, all the list stylings disappear.

You can test this literally on the homepage editor https://platejs.org/editors, highlight the list items, and transform to quote and the list stylings disappear.

This is expected behavior in Plate. When you convert a list to a blockquote, the editor changes the node type to "blockquote" and removes list-specific properties, so list styling disappears. There’s no built-in way to keep list styling when toggling to a blockquote—this would require custom plugin work to preserve and rehydrate list-style metadata during the transformation. If you want to explore a workaround, you’d need to extend the blockquote and list plugins’ transforms and normalization logic to support lists inside blockquotes, but this isn’t supported out of the box (docs, list plugin).
