how to block apple-touch-icon?

Firefox downloads <link rel="apple-touch-icon"> even if it's never used (for example, visit https://gopher.fyi/). I want to block those requests, but this filter ##^link[rel="apple-touch-icon"] doesn't work because generic HTML filters are forbidden

Actually, I have realised only right now that ^ (originally from gothic-bum's filter, which I copied unnecessarily) must be removed as well, otherwise the filter won't work, so the proper filter is: /apple-touch-icon$image,1p

Theoretically, it can also be rewritten to replace=.

This should be documented explicitly in the wiki. Right now, the docs imply specific-generic only works for purely-cosmetic filters

Applying HTML filtering on ALL websites is not recommended at all. Just because something works doesn't mean it should be documented in the wiki.
