Issue with escaped underscore in BIB entry's DOI

Description

Might as well be an issue of Typst / CSL. Or Mendeley Sync.
Results in wrong link destinations as the backslash ends up in the URL. Happens for multiple entries.
I've checked the entry on the Mendeley side and everything's fine there. I'm not an expert of BIB file syntax but it looks to me like there is something going on with unescaping escaped characters.

I assume (without knowing for sure) that the crate biblatex which hayagriva relies on treats {\_} like LaTeX would and protects the contents of the braces. What happens if the braces are removed from around the \_?

And more importantly, what if the underscore is not escaped, and you replace \_ with a simple _?

I think this is not the case, please see another example where everything works as it probably should work (i.e. not protecting the content of the braces but processing escaped special characters):

I have no control over the bib file as it is synced from Mendeley, so this wouldn't help, but I've tried and _ unescaped doesn't break it, so idk whether Mendeley just escapes without having to, but certainly it looks like valid syntax either way.

Does the bib file with escape sequence work with LaTeX? If not, then this seems like an issue on Mendeley's side.
