Armbian becomes unusable on Orange Pi 5

When I install on of these versions (newer then Nov 14) (v1.9-1-3381696 or v1.9-1-b5d7972) armbian becomes super slow. The mouse takes 5 seconds to refresh its position and takes more than 10 seconds to open any app. I had to wait more than 10 minutes to uninstall the new one and use the old one (nov 14) which works well. Any clue on what that might be?

Armbian Build: Armbian 24.5.0-trunk.30 noble

Sorry, I just mirrored libmali, so I don't know the details. Also, I am not using GUI on the RK3588 device.
However, I did encounter a significant change in rkmppenc hardware transcoding performance depending on the libmali version. Newer versions may be rather slow.
