What happened with changing money amounts by using mouse?

In a previous version of the tool it was possible to increase/decrease the thickness of the money line by moving the mouse up or down. Is there a way now to do the same thing (as far as I could see, this is not working any more)?

It was a very important feature, and should not be left out.

It was removed because it encourages the distortion of the real money amount. People from the chapters shouldn't play around with the thickness of the line but rather input the exact money amount they know about.

Well, i understand your concern, and we discussed it before.
However, in some cases the editors would be reluctant to put an exact
number, since they do not know it, even though they do know the approximate
value.
Is it possible, then, to add a checkbox called Approximate value, that they
would tick when they do not know the exact number? In View mode that amount
could then have an (approx.) or something similar next to it.

I would argue that reluctance can be good in this situation (in case the editor doesn't know the amount). Hopefully that will lead to more afford finding out that information. In case the editor can't find or get this information, the money amount can be kept blank/empty.

In an ideal world, I would agree that it is better for the editors to use
the amounts only when they know the exact values. However, in reality there
is often uncertainty, and they do not have all the information needed, but
want to use the little they have. You want to tell them "if you don't know
the exact amount, don't use the bits of information that you have". But
those bits might be important for their country's climate governance sector.

This might be the case of unnecessary trying to protect people (map
editors) from themselves. Why don't let them decide themselves if they want
to leave the amount blank or put an estimated value?
